Provider of this website and of the services described on it: Declaration Check, the trading name of a company in the course of incorporation in England and Wales as Falkenmark Services Group. The company number, registered office, the name of the director responsible for this site and the VAT number, when there is one, will be shown here on registration.

What we offer: an automated check of an importer’s own import declaration data, run in the importer’s browser; in the United Kingdom, a duty refund recovery service in which we prepare and lodge repayment claims as the client’s direct representative under written authority; in Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain, the preparation of repayment applications which the client, or its own customs agent, lodges in its own name; software licences; and the Duty Watch and Carrier Watch monitoring services.
Germany: we provide software only. We give no assistance in tax matters within the meaning of the Steuerberatungsgesetz, do not prepare, review, sign or submit any application, and do not correspond with any Hauptzollamt. The software licensee, or an adviser authorised under that Act (a tax adviser, a freight forwarder or a customs representative under § 4d), is responsible for any application.
Regulation and registrations: we are not a firm of solicitors, accountants, tax advisers or customs agents and are not a member of any professional body. On registration the company will apply to HM Revenue & Customs for supervision under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and will register with the Information Commissioner’s Office; both numbers will be shown here when issued. Professional indemnity insurance will be held before the first paid engagement; its details will be shown here when bound.
